United Way of Metropolitan Dallas held its annual Day of Action today at our Cedar Crest Community Center just south of downtown Dallas.

About 50 volunteers who donated $1,000 or more to this year's United Way campaign conducted a field day for children served by The Salvation Army.

Centering on United Way's health focus, the purpose was to engage children in physical activity and exercise, said Dana Vilardi, Senior Director of Volunteer Engagement with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. Thank you United Way volunteers!
